Effective date: 2026-06-07
Walkaround respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. If you believe that material accessible through Walkaround infringes a copyright or other intellectual-property right you own or are authorised to represent, you may submit a notice using the procedure below. Walkaround responds to good-faith notices in line with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) framework and equivalent Canadian notice-and-notice procedures.
Send a written notice to support@walkaround.report with the subject line DMCA Notice. To be effective, your notice should include:
Submitting a misrepresentation in a notice may subject you to liability for damages.
We will acknowledge receipt of your notice within five business days and, if the notice is effective, we will remove or disable access to the identified material within a reasonable time. We will notify the affected user (where one is identified) of the takedown and a summary of the notice.
If you are a Walkaround user and material you submitted or that is associated with your account has been removed in response to a notice you believe is mistaken or unauthorised, you may send a counter-notice to support@walkaround.report with the subject line DMCA Counter-Notice. An effective counter-notice includes:
We may forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. We may restore the removed material after a reasonable period unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a legal action seeking a court order against you.
Accounts that we determine, in our reasonable judgment, to be repeat infringers will be suspended or terminated.
Walkaround synthesizes information from public government registries, accident databases, regulatory publications, and publicly available aircraft listings. Underlying factual data from those sources is generally not subject to copyright, but creative expression (photography, descriptive prose authored by a listing agent, etc.) may be. If you believe such expression has been reproduced in a report in a way that exceeds fair use or fair dealing, send us a notice using the procedure above and we will promptly investigate.
Designated contact for IP notices: support@walkaround.report. Postal correspondence may be addressed to: Walkaround, c/o Luis Camara, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada (a precise street address is available on request for service of process).
